BirdWatch is a simple game for children, in which they play as photographers who need to get nice pictures of flying birds. The game includes different types of birds, and they all fly at different speeds. Those who fly very fast are more difficult to catch, and if the players do manage to catch them they will get more points. What is more, the quantity of points also depends on the quality of the photo. One thing to bear in mind is that the number of photos to take is limited, but in case the players take a photo of a fast Zeppelin, they will get a film bonus, which allows them to continue the game. There is also a time limit, though the full version of the game offers a way to extend it too. The full version also includes more birds to catch. The trial version only includes one background and I don't know if the full version includes some more, which would be definitely great.
The game features nice graphics, with colorful and vivid scenes. The birds are also very well done, they are all cartoonish and have funny faces, which may attract your children. But it has repetitive (although still nice) music, which can be annoying after some time. It would be great if it included different game modes and if you could see all the pictures taken on every level, in order to improve them on the following levels. The game is not challenging at all and can be played by people of all ages. However, it is apparently intended for children.
